What is keyword in SEO? How many types of keywords are there in SEO?
Today we will learn what the keywords are in digital marketing and why it is necessary.
Guys let be
ready to learn this heart core concept of digital marketing. If you do not know
what these keywords are and if you learn digital marketing then trust me, you
will never become a good digital marketer.
Let me take
one real time example that will help you to learn about keywords easily. So
consider that
You are
working in a multinational company. You have get engaged and you have to buy
birthday gift for your fiance. Now you want to leave early for purchasing a gift from the
market but your work isn’t finished and because
of this reason boss is not giving you permission to leave early.
Now what
will you do? You will use “Google Baba”😀.The
journey of keyword is going to start from here. Stay focused on reading.
Now you will
open your browser here Google Chrome and then will open Google and search for
gifts by typing best birthday gifts for boy/girl right!!!You may also
search best purse for boy/girl, best watch for boy/girl, best luxurious
watch for boy/girl etc.
So here all
these searches are called keywords and in digital term, called search query. Sometimes
keyword and search queries may differ. Look at this image.
So we can
say that keyword is nothing but term that internet users search on the
internet/web. These keywords are also called search query.
There are three types of search query:
1. Informational
search queries
2. Transactional
search queries
3. Navigational search queries
Query which is searched by internet
users to get only information or for information
purpose is called Informational search queries. For example SEO, Digital
Marketing etc.
Query which is searched by internet
users for transactional purpose is called Transactional search queries. For
example Buy Iphone X, Purchase Sony vaio laptop, SEO course in india , Digital Marketing
course in india.
Query which is searched by internet
users to find particular website then it is called Navigational search queries.
For example www.facebook.com,
www.amazon.com etc.
How can you get idea about which
keyword is found, how many times on the web or internet?
Google’s keyword planner tool I use
every time to find the search volume of keyword. Some other tools are also
available like Ahrefs Keywords Explorer, Jaaxy , Soovle, Moz Keyword Explorer etc.
We can use these tools and by finding
keywords we use them in our content for websites & blogs.
You will also get knowledge about
how your services/products reach to your targeted audiences using keyword research
strategy in my next post.
Quote of the
Day : “Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make, but about the
stories you tell.”
